Mr Hemant Oberoi wanted some art piece that reflected the essence of the restaurant "Martbaan." After few sessions of discussions it was decided to paint some traditional Barnis (Ceramic jars) to be displayed prominently at the reception area. Following that initial piece, I was commissioned to make two more artworks for the restaurant , one was larger version of my previous painting i.e white feather with red background and another one was the illustrated map depicting the ancient trading route , tying with the historical and cultural narratives of the restaurant's theme.
